ALICIA BENSON currently resides in Northern California with her husband, Robert, and their dog, Goldie. She considers herself lucky to have lived and worked in some of the greatest places in the country — Boston, Washington, D.C, New York City, California's Bay Area, and her home in rural North Carolina. She has degrees in International Relations, National Security, and law.  For fun, she writes books about vampires, travels and watches sci-fi movies and television.  The First Vampire is her debut novel.
