Virtual Tales, a privately held publisher of trade paperbacks, eBooks, and eSerials spanning a variety of fiction genres and styles, announced the acquisition of the worldwide print and electronic publishing rights for the novel SPEAR OF SETH by author Rene Daniel. This thrilling sci-fi/fantasy novel will take readers through the fabled 12 gates of the Egyptian underworld in quest of the legendary spear of Seth, which is believed to have supernatural healing powers.
SPEAR OF SETH is Rene Daniel's first novel. It has been assigned to staff editor Karen Webb (author of CHALICE OF LIFE, Dragon Moon Press and editor of I WILL, a science fiction novel by author Barton Paul Levenson scheduled for publication in February 2010 by Virtual Tales). Publication in both print and eBook formats is anticipated for early 2011.
