Portland, OR -- Virtual Tales, a publisher of eBooks and eSerials spanning a variety of fiction genres and styles, announced that it will begin offering its most popular eBooks in print starting July 19, 2007. The first print edition offered will be EARRINGS OF IXTUMEA by author Kim Baccellia. This engaging Young Adult/Fantasy novel tells the story of a 14-year-old Latina girl, Lupe Hernandez, who dismisses the legend about her Mexican grandmother's magical earrings as a silly fairytale. But then the earrings thrust her into the parallel world of Ixtumea. "We are very excited to be able to offer yet another way for our customers to enjoy our products," said Dave A. Law, Chairman of Virtual Tales. "Our move into print is a natural next step in our growth, and now allows readers to choose eBooks, eSerials or print formats, according to their own personal preferences." The print version of EARRINGS OF IXTUMEA will be offered for sale initially through Amazon.com. Other titles from Virtual Tales that will soon be offered in print include THE CURIOUS ACCOUNTS OF THE IMAGINARY FRIEND by noted up-and-coming horror author P.S. Gifford and the humorous Western ROUGH JUSTICE by author Lee Pierce. Virtual Tales is a privately held partnership founded in 2005 to publish original works of general and genre fiction in multiple formats, including eBooks, eSerials and print. eBooks are offered in a variety of formats, including MobiPocket, Microsoft Reader and PDA-formatted Adobe Reader files. eSerials are delivered through email twice a week as Adobe Reader files suitable for reading on a PC, Mac, PDA, e-reader, cell phone or other devices. All eSerials are available for a free trial subscription, so readers everywhere are encouraged to visit the website and sample the offerings at no cost or obligation. # # #
