Problem with THE SERIAL SCOOP newsletter 1 Week, 5 Days ago

I wanted to give all of you a heads up about a mistake I made tonight. I was transferring THE SERIAL SCOOP e-mail list and files over to our new server and I used a copy of the presale signup email for THE LAST FREE MEN as a template for the new database.

Unfortunately, as soon as I imported the list successfully, it immediately sent out a notice telling people they had joined the presale list for THE LAST FREE MEN. No one was supposed to get anything, and now I suspect that a good portion of the list received this e-mail in error (including you, perhaps?) before I was able to intervene.

I wanted to let you know what happened in case you did get a copy of this e-mail by mistake. You are not signed up for anything besides THE SERIAL SCOOP, which will hopefully be restarted as soon as I figure out how to use the new system and set up the archives.

My apologies for the inconvenience, and I thank you for your patience and understanding.
